Is Diddy Engaged?

Word is that my man Diddy is engaged and happier than an NBC Peacock. Hey…when its right …it right. Diddy is always full of surprises. He is truly a trend setter. He does it the Diddy way whether you like it or not.

I happen to love it. You go Diddy.

You only live once. Hey if it doesn’t work out….then it doesn’t work out. But at least he’s considering giving it a try. Best of luck Diddy. Congrats.
Send me an invite to the engagement party and I will party with you in full bliss like its 1999.
Peace out

NEW YORK– June 9th, 2008 – Fresh off the heels of finishing the hit ABC series “Dancing With the Stars”, R&B sensation, and Boys & Girls Club Alum, Mario will be hitting the road this summer to support his third studio album “Go!” In addition, the Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and actor will be visiting local Boys & Girls Clubs in support of the Mario Do Right Foundation that launched in March and will continue throughout the year with the help of this tour and other youth advocacy initiatives.

The foundation, which he started after helping his own mother overcome her heroin addiction, was set up to educate and inspire at-risk youth adversely affected by drug abuse in the home and young people in under resourced communities through programs and partnerships. In the program he will be able to provide young Club members with tools to help them deal with some of the stresses and fears of living in these situations.

As a Boys & Girls Club alum, Mario is well aware of the benefits of the Club and the affects of having positive role models. Now, as a role model himself, Mario will have the opportunity to meet with other young members face-to-face to offer ways to cope with drug abuse at home. Along the tour, Mario will stop at Boys & Girls Clubs for Q&A sessions and age-appropriate screenings of his documentary “I Won’t Love You To Death: The Story of Mario and His Mom” that premiered on MTV’s News+Docs last Fall.  He’ll incorporate his own life experiences in explaining how to deal with drug abusers without letting it negatively affect their lives in such a way so as not to lose sight of their goals.

Mario is also using the tribulations of his childhood for good in other areas such as his songwriting. The song “Do Right” off of his latest album “Go!” was inspired by what he has overcome in his life, and he will be using his music to tell his story to the audiences that attend his shows this summer along with hit songs “Crying Out For Me” and his current smash single “Music For Love.”

Mario wants concertgoers and Boys & Girls Club members along his tour to know that “my passion for making great music is inspired by trying to make the lives of young people better. I would not be able to do one without the other,” he said.

For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (www.bgca.org) has been changing and saving young lives, providing hope and opportunity for kids who need them most.  Today, some 4,300 Clubs serve some 4.8 million young people through Club membership and community outreach.  Known as The Positive Place for Kids, Boys & Girls Clubs can be found all across the country and on U.S. military bases throughout the world.  Clubs provide young people 6-18 years old with guidance-oriented character development programs conducted by trained, professional staff.  In communities large and small, Clubs positively impact lives and help young people reach their full potential as productive, caring citizens.  Key Boys & Girls Club programs emphasize leadership development; education and career exploration; community service; financial literacy; health and life skills; the arts; sports, fitness and recreation; and family outreach. In a recent Harris Survey of Club alumni, 57 percent said the Club saved their life.  National headquarters are located in Atlanta.
